HANSA PUPPET BRUSH TAIL POSSUM

Tarsipes rostratus. Found in Australia and New Guinea. Range in size from 12-120cm, including the tail. Tiny marsupial that feeds at night on nectar and pollen. Has a long pointed snout and brush tipped tongue. The new born young of a honey possum are the smallest of all the mammals weighing less than 5 milligrams each. Life span in wild 1-2 years. Puppet size approx 45cm.
